The Smelly Basement

This is the piano board that we have no clue what to do with or how much it might be worth. My guess it's worth nothing.

This is the boiler that used to heat the water and maybe the house at one time. Notice the nice modern day water heater in the background.

This is what makes the basement smelly.

An old oil tank which still has tons of oil in it. I like to say this is our savings for a rainy day.

Saved the best for last!

On one whole side of the basement there are these old beer bottle labels.

hey, i was thinking that that barrel of oil might be pretty valuable, given the cost of gas...that is definitely a good savings for a rainy day!!

and on a second note, that boiler is very scary looking--as in, how did that used to work?!
